"In the summer of 2006 have been to maestro Trevisani's master class as guest teacher. It was an honour for me to be invited by maestro Trevisani to be a guest teacher to teach in Premeno. I went with about 25 Turkish student with me. lt was such a good organization with the beautiful place on italian alps. Village was so cute. It was a dream place to teach. The hall of the villa that we used had excellent place with good acustic. Surroundings of the village and accomandation were suitable for master class.. I was happy to be there and this place take a important place for Sir James Galway school as maestro Trevisani is a first class at in this school." "I had the privilege of attending Raffaele Trevisani’s Flute Masterclass in Premeno in 2008, during my year of studying with him in Milano. My time at the masterclass in Premeno was certainly a highlight. Aside from the beautiful and picturesque location and scenery (photos don’t do it justice, it is just that beautiful!), I grew immensely as a musician and flautist. He’s the kind of teacher that knows how to push you to be your best, not expecting anything less, but being constructive and encouraging at the same time. He also has a sense of humour and incorporates that into his teaching. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him a great mentor. Mr. Trevisani and his wife, Paola Girardi, the fabulous pianist who accompanied the participants, are such great people to get to know. It was also a great opportunity to make new friends. Everyone was so friendly and encouraging to each other. It is worth going just to hear Mr. Trevisani perform. I would encourage all aspiring flautists to attend this masterclass. It’s one of those once in a lifetime experiences!"

"Immersa nel silenzio e nel verde di un bellissimo parco con alberi secolari, Villa Bernocchi è la sede ideale per lo studio e l’approfondimento della musica. Nel periodo in cui ospita i corsi musicali mentre ci si avvicina alla villa, si sentono sempre più nitidi e chiari i suoni provenienti dalle stanze interne, si percepisce la voglia e la frenesia con cui gli allievi studiano, guidati da bravissimi musicisti. In passato ho avuto modo di seguire per alcuni anni il corso del M° Trevisani che reputo un fantastico flautista e un insegnante appassionato e di grandissima competenza: ogni lezione era un concentrato di professionalità, dedizione e totale attenzione alla musica e all’ allievo. A completare il tutto la maestria con cui la moglie Paola Girardi, eccezionale pianista, accompagnava le esibizioni degli allievi al termine del corso. Sono stati momenti molto belli per tutto quanto ho potuto imparare e per l’atmosfera amichevole e coinvolgente che li ha caratterizzati. Attualmente, durante l’estate, torno a trovare fugacemente Trevisani e Girardi in Villa Bernocchi e non posso che constatare che il tempo ha solo migliorato, se possibile, la loro totale dedizione alla musica e al loro lavoro."

"Sono nata e cresciuta a Verbania ed è proprio in questo posto meraviglioso che ho avuto la possibilità di conoscere M° Raffaele Trevisani per la prima volta. Era il 2003 e io ero solo una studentessa amatoriale che aveva nel cuore la speranza di iscriversi al conservatorio per proseguire i miei studi. In class is very warm and unofficial atmosphere. Also the place is awesome - enjoy the rich nature, Italian food in good company, relax, and practicing!
But I have to say, as for me, maestro Trevisani makes any place special - if he teaches anywhere else, I would go there.

"We liked it a lot when we were there a few years ago..Especially the place and athmosphere were great! One speciality was the flute orchestra with latin music and latin players..All my students were happy about that and I think playing in the orchestra with great flute players is something they never forget. Of course your own flute concert in the church was also worth mentioning with several italian flute concertos you played! I think my students were like at home there (at hotel and villa Bernocci)and they had new friends from other countries as well.. and besides two of them continued to professional studies after the course! I think this course was also good for those not aiming to be pros..They see how must work and enthusiasm must be there to be a pro..And after all they could play in the orchestra and masterclass final concert.. I liked that I could bring my family along too! And some sports (football) during the course is always a good thing between flute playing!"

"Quest'anno ho avuto il privilegio di poter partecipare al Corso di Flauto del Maestro Raffaele Trevisani. In realtà, io suono la chitarra, e dovendo preparare un concerto con un suo allievo, ho colto l'opportunità di venire a Premeno, un posto meraviglioso sul Lago Maggiore!! Questa condizione da "intrusa" mi ha fatto capire diverse cose. La prima è che non ero affatto intrusa, perchè l'accoglienza del Maestro Trevisani, di sua moglie e dei partecipanti al corso, è stata esemplare. La seconda considerazione riguarda le lezioni a cui ho potuto assistere sia come uditrice sia come partecipante attiva: non sono mai "solo" lezioni di flauto ma lezioni di vera musica, da cui tutti possono sempre trarre un insegnamento. Il terzo aspetto, per me molto interessante, riguarda il fatto che ho potuto conoscere meglio, da vicino, uno strumento diverso dal mio. Ultimo punto, ma non meno importante, è il clima non competitivo del corso. Ciò che accomuna tutti i partecipanti è la volontà di imparare, studiare e confrontarsi; questo, dal mio punto di vista, è molto stimolante. Un'altro aspetto non trascurabile è stato il piacevole soggiorno all'Hotel Moderno, che ogni mattina e ogni cena ha sempre offerto gustosi piatti e molta cordialità. Tutti questi aspetti, sommati alla bellezza del posto e alla possibilità di studiare all'interno della prestigiosa Villa Bernocchi rendono il corso del M °. Raffaele Trevisani una preziosissima esperienza, non solo per chi è flautista."
